Birds of Iowa

Welcome to the Birds of Iowa website. This site contains photos and information about birds I have photographed in Iowa and other places. I have also added photos of amphibians, bats, flowers, fungi, mammals, salamanders, snails, snakes and turtles.

Birdlist Texas Birds
This is a list of birds seen on our trip to Texas 4-1/21-2008 and 3-21/4-17-2009. Unfortunately I didn't get photographs of all the birds seen. I added to existing and created new pages for the birds seen. The wading birds were great. I was able to get good, close shots of most of them.
